[Updated] The Corporation of St. George extended their condolences to the family of the late Phillip Anderson, calling him a “true St. Georgian” who was passionate about tourism for the Old Town.
A spokesperson said, “The Corporation of St. George wishes to extend its sincere condolences to the family of the late Mr. Phillip Anderson.
“Mr. Phillip Anderson began his Corporation of St. George service in May 2012. He served as Councilor for the past six years, and during the past three and half years he was the Chairman of the Infrastructure & Development Committee.
“He was instrumental in ensuring King’s Square has free Wi-Fi for all who visit and was actively working with the stakeholders for the Waste Water Management for the parish of St. George’s. He had a passion for tourism and was quite passionate of the tourism product for the Old Town.
