Businesses and Residents of the Town of St. George are advised of the collection times for refuse:

Terms of Service:

1. Refuse is only to be put out for collection at the times listed above. Refuse is to be placed out on the day of collection, not the night before.
2. All refuse must be appropriately bagged and secured and carried to the sidewalk and placed next to the curb so as not to cause unreasonable impediment to pedestrians.
3. The Corporation of St. George's does not offer Bulky refuse collection (e.g. appliances, computers, furniture etc.) Business and Residents must make their own arrangements for the disposal of these items.
4. No garden, foliage or construction waste will be collected.
5. Trash is to be placed out in either plastic lidded bins or sealed plastic bags. Paper bags are not to be used.
6. There is no trash collection on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays. If a holiday falls on a normal trash collection day, the Corporation will follow the Government schedule for Residential Trash collection.
7. Business and Residential trash is not to be placed in the Town black trash receptacles.
