About The Island
Created by reclaiming the land between Ducking Stool, Frazer's and Gallows Islands; after the second world war, the island was bridged.
The Plan
The New Ordnance Island (NOI) project will progress in phases.
The Corporation of St George is revamping the area to consolidate exhibits and activities into one location to generate more economic activity for the Town. The NOI would consist of core attractions that include: The Deliverance Exhibit, The Flag of Nations Civic Space and a recreation area.
